Dr. Chad Gordon
Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Gordon is the pioneer of Neuroplastic and Reconstructive Surgery, where he currently serves as Section Chief and Fellowship Program Director at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His clinical expertise includes neuroplastic surgery centered around the improvement of reconstructive outcomes for patients with brain tumors, head trauma, and hydrocephalus, among other complications. In 2008, Dr. Gordon was awarded the Bruce Hubbard Stewart Memorial Award for Humanistic Medicine for his contribution to the country’s first face transplant at the Cleveland Clinic. Throughout his tenure, he developed a portfolio of 21 patents and 3 First-in-Human studies evaluating state-of-the-art cranial implants. His work led to the idealization and early development of the NeuroPASS™ device, which led to his founding of CraniUS in 2021. Today, Dr. Gordon serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Medical Officer of CraniUS.
